We are proud to have Matthew Pifer , MD on board of supporters of ‘Neu-Power Athletic Consulting.’ He is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon that practices in the greater Santa Barbara, CA area. Fellowship trained in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, he also specializes in complex minimally invasive arthroscopic surgical techniques, as well as biologic therapies. He concurrently works with medical device companies to help design the surgical instruments of the future and educate his peers on the most advanced techniques.
He cares for high school, college, and professional athletes as well as recreational exercisers and fitness fanatics. He attended college on an NCAA Football scholarship at Ashland University in his home state of Ohio. He was a 4 year starter and one of the top scorers in the school’s history and is therefore very familiar with the athletic as well as academic requirements of a student athlete.
